Our Story - How it All Began

Sun Construction Services was founded in 1982 by Don Cretsinger and his partner Joanne White at their shop in Norman, OK. It was fully incorporated as Sun Construction Services, Inc. in 1992 as Don and Joanne transitioned the company into full-time commercial renovation and new construction.

Commercial General Contractors

In 1993, they built a new shop and office complex in Noble that grew to 25,000 sq. ft. This included a millwork shop, offices, and storage.

The millwork company was sold to former employees as the company continued its growth in commercial general contracting.

Meeting Your Needs From Start to Finish

In 2003, Sara Fisher joined the ownership team to help expand all facets of the business from estimating and client relationships to project management and final closeout.

Sun Construction Services has recently built a new 28,000 sq. ft. office and contracting facility at 1000 South Main Street in Noble.

With the addition of its planning and design department, Sun Construction Services continues to expand its capabilities to meet its client’s needs from concept to completion. Call 405-872-3397.

The Secrets to Our Success

Our business continues to prosper and grow by focusing on the key element of all
successful businesses – customer service. The respect and loyalty of our clients is the
key to expanding our customer base and maintaining our growth. The following
points of emphasis in customer relations are what set us apart in this highly competitive market.

Communication
Being clear with our clients as to the quality and quantity of work we are performing
is critical in establishing trust. Our next job depends on the reference secured from
our last job. We hope to surpass our client’s expectations and this is only achieved
with clear communications by our whole team. The client, architect, sub-contractors,
suppliers, and our crew must strive at all times to communicate their needs and
expectations for us to maintain our schedule and perform the work as designed.

Quality of Work
We are always striving for perfection. We understand that when this is not possible,
due to either budget constraints, types of materials, or errors in craftsmanship, that we
communicate with our clients and the office to achieve the best possible solutions. If
a mistake is made it must be addressed immediately to maintain client trust and limit
further disruptions to the project.

Job Schedule
Outside of the actual cost of the project and the quality of the finished project, there is
no greater concern to our clients than their schedule. This again is contingent upon
good communication skills, proper planning by our project managers, and a
commitment by our company and its sub-contractors to stay on schedule. We
understand that changes requested by clients not only add more money, but also
require more time. Never promise results that have not been verified by all parties
involved, as this will lead to lack of trust by our clients in all other areas of
performance.

Pride in Our Work
This encompasses many factors, but in the end it is the cornerstone of our success in
achieving proper customer service. Offering the best possible materials and
craftsmanship, paying attention to details, communicating well and keeping our word
are all contingent on each individual within the company taking pride in our jobs and
making sure we have met our customer needs.
